 Create A Connection

Live symphonic concerts are a partnership between players and listeners – an hour or two when both give the music their all. Sponsorship can provide a special connection between musical partners and give you an opportunity to learn more about the orchestra from the inside out.
.
Your SOA musicians are among the finest in the region. They spend countless hours preparing and rehearsing to make local symphonic music accessible, affordable, and exciting for all ages. By sponsoring a Symphony musician, you not only recognize their artistic skill but also the indispensable role they play in education and in the cultural life of our city.
.
Musician Chair Sponsorship can be named for you, your family, or to honor someone dear to you. It is a great way to celebrate and give the lasting gift of music.

 Sponsor Levels:

Associate Concertmaster Chair Sponsor: $4,000

*The associate concertmaster sits next to the concertmaster (first violin) and is ready to assume the concertmaster duties if he or she is absent. Those duties range from leading the orchestra in tuning prior to the concert to playing the violin solos within pieces during the concert.

.

Assistant Concertmaster Chair Sponsor: $3,000

*The assistant concertmaster sits immediately behind the concertmaster and assists in leading the orchestra from within.

.

Principal Musician Chair Sponsorship: $2,500

*The principal is the leader of the section. Principal string players decide on bowings for their section and other principal players assign parts and perform the solos for that particular instrument.

.

Section Musician Chair Sponsorship: $1,500

*Most musicians in the orchestra are members of a section: strings, woodwinds, brass, or percussion. These musicians must focus and work together to play as a cohesive ensemble.
