Symphony Orchestra Augusta continues to share symphonic music with individuals in outlying communities throughout the Central Savannah River Area with its “SOA on the Road” program.  The program features SOA in concert through collaborations with arts-based community partners and community sponsors.  Programs are designed to appeal to a wide audience base, and include selections films, patriotic tunes, familiar operatic overtures, and favorites from classical composers.  Implemented ten years ago, the “SOA on the Road” program has presented concerts in Oconee, Thomson, Waynesboro, Swainsboro, and Athens, GA; and in North Augusta, Barnwell, and McCormick, SC.
